About

I’m a writer living in Denton, Texas. I worked for a few years as a print journalist in New York City, then changed careers and became a management consultant on Wall Street. 

I moved to Dallas, Texas and finally left finance to become a video editor before moving back to New York after three years and starting a career on film sets.

I worked as a production assistant, then assistant director for about fifteen years in NYC, then Los Angeles, and throughout the U.S. before switching to writing full time and moving to Denton, Texas from L.A., where I’ve been since, though I did spend several precious months in Perugia, Italy at one point.

It took some years to commit fully to writing and I find it helpful to spend time reading and speaking Italian, playing the trumpet, riding my bicycle, and taking walks. I also practice yoga, though it can be hard to approach sometimes, and spend time in prayer.

I live with my partner Donna and our dog Odell.
